I studied Theatre and Drama at Stellenbosch University, but my path quickly veered toward film and television, where I discovered the magic of storytelling and editing. Meeting people, uncovering their experiences, and weaving them into compelling narratives has driven my work ever since..

Over the past 25+ years, I’ve worn many hats — producing, directing, and editing documentaries, fiction, reality series, talk shows, lifestyle programs, music videos, and corporate content. I embrace emotionally charged and complex topics, believing in the power of stories to provoke thought, spark dialogue, and inspire change.

I have shared my expertise as a freelance lecturer at Stellenbosch University, University of Cape Town, University of the Western Cape, Stellenbosch Academy of Design & Photography, and AFDA. My professional development includes the UCT Sunshine Cinema Film Impact Screening Facilitator Course, the Business Model Canvas (BMC) Trainer Course, a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law, and a course in Mindfulness.

I am a member of the South African Guild of Editors (SAGE) and the Documentary Filmmakers Association (DFA), and outside of my professional life, I find balance in reading, hiking, running, yoga, and quality time with family and friends.
